"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” ~Eleanor Roosevelt

This is a quote my father would tell me when I was younger and was feeling overwhelmed by what was going on in my life growing up. Little did I know, this would be a quote that I live by even as an adult.

Simply put, Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote is a reminder that only YOU are in charge of your thoughts and feelings.  When you or your child chooses to come to counseling, you are choosing to take control of what is going on in your life and mind.

As a therapist, I will assure that I can provide you or your child the skills to navigate fluctuating emotions, life changes, or simple minor difficulties we face day to day.  I promise to create a safe space where emotions can be felt and challenges can be worked through. I base my therapy practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered, and Strengths Based therapy.

In December of 2019, I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Ball State University and later worked with children/adolescents at the Indiana State Psychiatric Hospital where my passion for working with the younger population started. In May of 2022 I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Child, Family, and Adolescents at the University of Indianapolis.

Fun facts about me! My family is everything to me and I am very close with them! I believe there is strength in these close relationships, even the friends that turn into and feel like family. In my spare time I enjoy being outside (when Indiana weather permits!), watching TV shows, shopping, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
