My passions are helping couples have healthy fullfilling relationships, helping people heal from past trauma, and helping women who are torn between the many hats they wear and struggling with finding their sense of identity as individuals apart from the many roles they fulfill.

Education and Credentials:

I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling-Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University and received my Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in General Studies with my major focus area in Religious Studies. I currently hold a Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) with the state of Indiana. I have also received training in the Gottman Couples Therapy Method and EMDR for treating trauma, and am a certified Prepare-Enrich Provider for pre-marital counseling.  I completed the AAMFT Approved Supervisor course in 2017 and I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.  I currently teach as an adjunct faculty member for Indiana Wesleyan University in their Graduate Counseling program.

Before returning to school to complete my Masters degree in Counseling, I was primarily a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. During that time I worked as a Children’s Ministry Director at my local church for a brief period, volunteered in leading Women’s Ministry, partnered in opening up an upscale resale shop, and helped my husband with the day to day operations of his technology consulting business.

The favorite part of what I do: Seeing lives transformed as I partner with God in helping fulfill the mission of Isaiah 61:1-3 of binding up the brokenhearted, proclaiming freedom for those who are oppressed, releasing people from their prisons of darkness, and comforting those who mourn.

Family/Hobbies:

My husband and I have four children, two dogs, and three cats. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, reading, playing violin, needlework, scrapbooking, hosting family gatherings, and road trips with my husband.
