Therapy for Children

Is your child expressing fears or anxiety that they can’t seem to overcome? Perhaps your child is exhibiting symptoms of depression, expressing suicidal thoughts, engaging in self-harm behaviors, or acting out. Children have an emotional processing system that is still developing. Sometimes this makes it more difficult for them to make sense of things going on in their world so they respond in ways that can appear dramatic or rebellious. They need help navigating the ever-changing world of their emotions and identity at times. If you have concerns that your child is not adapting well, we would love to come alongside you and help. Our child therapists utilize a variety of methods to engage young people in healing. Some of the methods used may be play therapy, art therapy, dance movement therapy, and other interactive methods of engaging youth in the therapeutic process. We work to tailor treatment to the method that your child responds best to.
